Community Renewables Champions Training Course No. 3

We are now taking enrolments for our third course due to start on
12 February 2010. If you are interested in reserving a place,
please let me know.

The course is aimed at Network Volunteers/Champions who wish to
find out more about Community owned Renewable Energy go to Course
The course will cover:

· working with your community, · renewable

· grid connection,· developing a project,

· the planning process and· sources of finance

The venue is next to Newcastle’s Central Railway Station and will
be held on the following 3 Fridays:
· Day 1 – Friday 12 February 2010 – Time 10 – 4.30pm
· Day 2 – Friday 26 February 2010 – Time 10 – 4.30pm

· Day 3 – Friday 5 March 2010 – Time 10 – 4.30pm

The course is free to CoRE Network Members.

The funding to develop and deliver this course has come from an
Awards for All Grant; that CoRE received last year.

Included in the funding is a limited sum for participants travel

Please note the above course is aimed at volunteers, however CoRE
is about to confirm a one day course, aimed at the needs of
professionals / local authorities looking to work with renewables
in the community sector.
