Streets Going Naked

1 Streets Going Naked: creating a clutterfree environment.
Basically, this is an opportunity to hear about how we can improve
the quality of life of communities by using urban design concepts
such as shared space and naked street principles. The event is
free to all North East partners (any NE person actually!) and
booking can be done on surveymonkey. Actually, if someone really
wanted to attend from outside the region I wouldn’t cast them out,
as long as they book within a reasonable time.
Keynote speakers include a senior council officer who worked on the
Kensington High Street initiative and Martin Shaw from Natural
England who will be talking about walking for health. Geoff
Gardner (Atkins)and myself will be leading a workshop in the
afternoon about Healthy Spaces.
